Local area McDonalds are now accepting nominations for the McDonalds Agriculture Award. Applications will be open through March 22.

McDonalds announced that it’s investing in the future of agriculture in the local area through the second annual agriculture scholarship award program. Twenty winners will receive a $500 scholarship award. Eligible counties in Kentucky include Caldwell, Calloway, Crittenden, Daviess, Graves, Henderson, Hopkins, Lyon, Marshall, McCracken and Muhlenberg.

To be eligible, the student must reside in one of the above counties and be enrolled in a college agriculture program. Winners will be announced in April. Nominations can be made at surveymonkey.com/r/mcdonaldsagawards.
