On Saturday, May 20, there will be a free tree distribution at the Extension Office in Lyon County. It's scheduled for 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Residents of Lyon County and the surrounding areas that were affected by the December 2021 tornado will be able to pick up free trees. Fifteen species of native trees will be available. They are five to eight feet tall and will be in three to five gallon pots.
