Lyon County Youth Soccer is hosting its fifth annual “Ties and Tiaras” Father-Daughter dance on Saturday, May 7. The dance will take place at the Lee S. Jones Building and will begin at 6 p.m. with doors opening at 5:30 p.m.
The dance was originally scheduled to take place in February, but Lyon County schools were hit particularly hard with COVID-19 at the time, so the organization felt it was safer to reschedule. Attendees that registered and paid for the original date should have been sent a confirmation text informing them of the date change.
Pre-registration is available before May 1. Pre-registration tickets are $25/couple (father and daughter) and an additional $10 for each additional daughter. The first 100 guests are also guaranteed a goodie bag.
Tickets can be purchased at the door of the event and will be $30/couple and an additional $15 for each additional daughter. Registration forms are available to download on the Lyon County youth soccer Facebook page, @lyoncountyyouthsoccer or in-person at Akridge’s. Forms can be mailed to Lyon County Youth Soccer’s PO box or returned to Akridge’s.
The event is open to dads, grandpas, uncles or any other special person who fits the “father” role. There will be dancing, prizes, desserts, music and pictures. Photo packages will also be available for purchase at the dance.
Sunday dress is required for the event.
